TOP 2014 ONLINE TRENDS

When I think of the top 2014 online trends I automatically think Kim Kardashian, Ferguson, and Ray Rice. Those examples are all predictable, but I came across a few surprises. IMG_1701-0.JPG
The most-hash-tagged celebrity was without a doubt Kim Kardashian, along with the usual suspects Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber. Honestly, it was not a fair race — with Kardashian’s ass “breaking the internet” in November, Beyonce’s pants-less hotel party a few weeks later was simply too little, too late.

Destiny, Lone Survivor and Halo: Are predictably the most-hash-tagged video games. However the list of top trending movies is somewhat surprising, with Frozen, Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America: The Winter Soldier on top and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay nowhere to be found.
